Web 2.0 Tools for Student Oral Projects: Numerous free and easy-to-use Web 2.0 tools provide opportunities for both instruction of speaking skills and student audio and video projects that are broadcast to a wide audience and allow for online collaboration and feedback. The panelist will demonstrate how a few sites can be used for teaching oral skills and for project-based learning.

Online oral language work can take many forms. Directed speaking assignments, prompted oral responses, and student projects involving speaking are some examples. CLEAR's Web 2.0 tools is one option to faciliatate these kinds of activities. I will show examples of activities, demonstrate the web-based work flow, and discuss curricular implications of these new tools.
