Kristi Reyes is a faculty member and technology mentor in the noncredit ESL program at MiraCosta College, Oceanside, California, where she teaches general and vocational ESL and developed an ESL Digital Storytelling course.  She writes a monthly article on Web 2.0 tools for use in adult education and moderates online technology workshops for OTAN

  

Marsha Chan teaches English as a Second Language at Mission College in Santa Clara, California. She has taught an online class since 1997 and now co-teaches faculty to design online classes. She uses sound files for students in traditional and distance learning environments, as well as for multimedia materials. She welcomes face-to-face discussion at Sunburst Media Booth 833 in the convention exhibit hall.  

 

Jeff Magoto is the director of the Yamada Language Center and the World Languages Academy at the University of Oregon (a place where the CALL waters flow mightily). He's been involved in CALL since his days as a grad student at Ohio University in the mid 80's and has been doing CALL teacher training since the mid 90's. His most recent work has focused on ANVILL, a speech-based course management system for language teachers.

 

 

Dennie Hoopingarner is the Director of the Language Learning Center and Associate Director for Technology at the Center for Language Education And Research at Michigan State University. His interests include computer assisted language learning, and Chinese as a heritage language. He has been a language teacher for over 20 years.
